Lunchtime Litter Lovers

Published: 26th April 2023

Here at Messenger, we are proud to be a part of a company that values environmental sustainability and community engagement. Today we organised our first lunchtime litter picking activity. Starting from the gates of our head office in the village of Collyweston, it was astounding to see the impact we could make in just a short amount of time.

Four teams, each comprising of two enthusiastic volunteers (armed each with a litter picker and bag) set out during our lunch break to clean up a stretch of A43 running between Collyweston and Easton on the Hill.

In just over 30 minutes, we had filled four bags to the brim with rubbish. It was a reminder that even during a busy workday, we can take small but meaningful steps to give back to our community and protect the environment.

Our litter picking activity will continue in Collyweston and Easton for sure!
