Overview
Messenger Construction are looking for a Lead Plumber to join the team in Collyweston.
The individual must make and install lead flashings, fittings and general metal roof coverings.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Discussing plans and following instructions
- Cutting and shaping lead and other metal products
- Making and fitting rainwater goods
- Comply with all health, safety, HR and environmental policies and procedures
- Responsibility for following the Company’s hot work policies
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Lead Plumber
- To be able to follow technical drawings and plans
- Maths skills to calculate quantities and angles
- The ability to pay close attention to detail and make accurate measurements
- Practical skills and the ability to follow safe working practices
- Customer care skills
- Proficient in using relevant equipment
- Successful completion of a relevant qualification
- To work as part of a team
Location: Collyweston
Contract: Permanent
