Earlier this week, Ian Bird (heads our Staffs team) had the pleasure of hosting architectural students from the University of Wolverhampton at our ongoing Willow Court Farmhouse project.
As part of our commitment to community engagement and education, the students were given a guided tour of the site by our Site Manager, Steve, along with David and Ross of the RMP architectural team. Here they had the opportunity to learn about the restoration process and the challenges of heritage conservation firsthand.
Following the site tour, the experience continued at a local community centre, where specialist trades in heritage plastering and lead work were demonstrated by Jon, Dan and Chris. This hands-on session provided the students with valuable insights into traditional craftsmanship and the skills required in heritage projects.
We extend our thanks to the Worcestershire Building Preservation Trust and Rodney Melville and Partners for their invaluable support in making this event possible. At Messenger, we are passionate about sharing our knowledge and fostering the next generation of architectural professionals. We thank the University of Wolverhampton and all involved for making this an inspiring and educational day for everyone.
