Our Christmas tradition lives on!

Published: 14th December 2021

Christmas Crafting is back at Messenger. This year’s everyday item was a light bulb and we’ve had plenty of bright ideas!!

It has been a tradition here since 2016 that each member of the Head Office staff is tasked with producing something Christmassy from a random, everyday item. So far, they have been:

2016 – a toilet roll tube
2017 – a cork
2018 – a wooden spoon
2019 – an embroidery hoop
2020 – a terracotta pot and wooden crafting ball

People always put in so much effort and this year is no different. We’ve had snow globes, a giant snowman’s head, a penguin, a crocheted snowman, Grinch and Max, and that’s to name but a few!

The month of December is always one we look forward to and try to embrace, from festive Fridays to our beautifully lit tree taking pride of place in front of the office for all staff and passers-by to see, we make the most of it all!

As we hope for a more normal Christmas in 2021 and even more normality to resume as we head into 2022, we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year. We’re already excited to see what next year’s Christmas crafting involves!
